How do I purchase a kitten from you?
It is best to reserve a kitten.  You may request a Kitten Reservation form by e-mail. Once we receive your reservation form along with a $100 non refundable kitten deposit, we will place you on our waiting list. This deposit goes towards the purchase of your kitten.  As is the policy with other catteries, breeders receive priority listing.
In choosing a kitten, any show/breeder kittens will be held and at 4-6 weeks of age the rest of the kittens will be offered to those on the waiting list.  At this time a second $100 non-refundable deposit, to be applied towards your deposit, will reserve a specific kitten for you.  You will continue to be on our waiting list until you get a kitten or remove your name voluntarily.  If anyone asking to be on the waiting list is not approved, your money will be refunded.

How old is the kitten when it leaves Deedlebugs?
The kittens will be ready to go home at about 10 to 12 weeks of age.

Are the kittens given a health check?
All kittens will receive a veterinary exam, health check up and necessary shots at Southfork Animal Hospital, AAHA.  They will have their first set of shots at 8 weeks.  Also, a second set of vaccinations if they are still with us.  They will be due for a rabies vaccination at 4 months of age.

Are the kittens registered?
Deedlebugs Siberians are pedigreed. Kittens will be registered with TICA or CFA.   All pet kittens are sold with a spay/neuter contract and can not be bred.  Registration papers will be held until after proof of spay/neuter.

Can we visit the cattery?
We are setting up cattery visits. If you or a family member have allergies to cats and are considering a Siberian kitten, you must test with an adult Siberian first.  If you are not already on the list there is a $20.00 non-refundable charge which will be applied towards your deposit if you are able to join the waiting list.

Deedlebugs?
Why name my cattery Deedlebugs?  As a child I was nicknamed Deedle Dumplin, by my father.  My best friend’s mother, Addie, always called me Deeds.  When Addie pasted away, she lovingly remembered me with a gift of money.  I used this to purchase my cats.  For me, my cats are a gift from a 2nd mother, who loved me unconditionally.  They are my little love bugs.
